Façade, Geneva – A Project of Many Superlatives

Introduction

My mission began with a thorough analysis of the major defects affecting this iconic façade in Geneva.

The objective was to identify all technical root causes, design a durable repair solution, have it validated through laboratory testing, and ensure it could be covered by a warranty. I then took full responsibility for the autonomous implementation of the solution, leading to the complete restoration of a fully functional and compliant façade.

Unique in its kind, this reference project illustrates the synergy between our technical expertise, mastery of custom digital tools, and ability to rigorously manage a process serving complex legal challenges.

Project Timeline

• 2020 – present: Project management, implementation of new quality standards, digital supervision
• Development of a dedicated Apple application with a custom database for:
  - Intervention tracking
  - Defect traceability
  - Photo documentation
  - Real-time field reporting
• 2018 – 2019: Design and testing of innovative technical solutions for defect correction
• 2017 – 2019: Coordination of the initial repair work and inspection campaigns
• 2017: Responsible for the repair of the CCF façade of a major building in Genevathe JTI headquarters

The digital solution enabled optimized information flow, faster on-site response times, and centralized technical documentation accessible to all project stakeholders in real time.
